Residency Process - Detailed Information
Remember, applying to the Paraguayan residency requires a visit to Paraguay with the documents mentioned on our website in hand.
The process offers a two-year temporary residency that allows you to live, invest and work in Paraguay. You don´t have to remain in the country in order to qualify.
Due to a change in new migration laws, you will have to come back to Paraguay 60 days before the two-year mark has expired in order to re-submit your documents and apply for the permanent residency. Please keep in mind that our service fee only applies for the two-year temporary residency. If you wish to apply for the permanent residency after undergoing the application process for the two-year temporary residency, a new service fee of 3,300 USD will be applied for this service.

8-Day Paraguay Experience - Detailed Schedule
We will pick you up at the airport and drive you to your hotel. The costs for all of your hotels, transportation, entrance fees and your 2 year residecny application are already covered!
Day 1
We will pick you up at the airport in Asunción and bring you to your hotel in the city center. Depending on how you feel, we could either have dinner together or you may spend some time by yourself exploring Asunción.
Day 2
Let´s hit the road! We will drive 360 kilometers down to Encarnación, in the southern region of Paraguay. Encarnación is the most popular vacation destination in Paraguay due to its selection of beaches which are located directly on the Paraná river and its proximity to the bordering town of Posadas, Argentina.
Day 3
We will give you a city tour through Encarnación, giving you a glimpse of what life here is like. Whether it´s visiting schools, checking out healthcare centers or just simply enjoying a coffee with other expats. It´s up to you!
Day 4
Let´s apply for your 2 year residency! The process will be completed with our partner within one day. In the afternoon, you can enjoy your time at one of the three beaches accompanied by some cold drinks!
Day 5
This day will be reserved in case of any delays with the application of the residency. Usually, it's not the case, but we´d rather play it safe! If everything goes as planned, we can head towards Ciudad del Este with a stopover at the Jesuit ruins.
Day 6
Let´s start the day with a visit to the Iguazú Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. In the afternoon, we will visit the Itaipú dam, the second biggest hydroelectric power plant worldwide and an absolute masterpiece of engineering.
Day 7
Time to head back to Asunción and prepare for your flight back home.
Day 8
Depending on your flight schedule, we may have some time to explore Asunción before driving you to the airport.
